Hikkaduwa

Hikkaduwa, or what is better known as “Hikka” is a popular tourist destination for its natural appeal; Indian Ocean being crystal-clear-blue, golden beach, hot sun, and the coral garden are only some of it. Nearby attractions are the turtle conservation, “Seenigama muhudu viharaya” or sea temple, community tsunami museum, Narigama beach, and the art gallery, “Saffron Robes”. Tourists make it to Hikka for water-activities such as surfing, snorkeling, boogie-boarding and more. Hikka is known as the second best surfing destination in Sri Lanka. Combined with a vibrant nightlife and the now world-famous “Hikka Fest”, this is an ideal visit for not only the partygoers but also the hard core surfers and lazy sunbathers.
